“Letting you know the door is always open and you always have a seat at the dinner table!”
Partnership originally began as a platform to build “people to people” bridges through social, cultural, educational and professional exchange initiatives that lead to our many programs over the years. 
In 1997 Indianapolis joined six Ohio Jewish Federation communities, Des Moines, Louisville and Omaha to create a “home away from home,” relationship with the Northern part of Israel known as the Western Galilee. 
Today, with the ever-expanding circle of U.S. Federations and now including Budapest, Hungary we have become known as the Western Galilee Central Area Consortium.
The Western Galilee includes the city of Akko and the Mateh Asher Regional Council, with its 32 kibbutzim, moshavim and villages. We have had the privilege of collaborating with the Western Galilee Medical Center, the Western Galilee College and the Ghetto Fighters Museum, with whom we have had professional exchange relationships.

VISIT!
When the skies open, take your family to visit families in the Partnership! Enjoy home hospitality and personal attention from Partnership staff. Explore, learn and enjoy Israel in a more personal one to one way.... truly your home away from home! If your teen or young adult is participating in a Masa, Birthright or other Israel program we can connect them to their peers in the Partnership for home hospitality.

SUPPORT!
Through your generosity to the Annual Campaign, a portion of funds raised is allocated overseas to support our Home away from Home, for example; an ORT school in our Partnership region which works with students to provide advanced training in STEM subjects.

HOST!
When the skies open and travel resumes, become a host and welcome our Israeli guests visiting Indianapolis. Become an ambassador for the day, showing guests our beautiful city.
Over the past 24 years our Partnership has welcomed many visitors from our community who have  supported and spent time there. We look forward to continuing to grow the relationship Indianapolis has created with our Home away from Home in 2022 as we celebrate the 25th Anniversary of our Partnership.
