2021 Annual Campaign Surpasses $4 Million Goal to Address Community Needs

Thank you to the generous donors, dedicated volunteers, hardworking professionals, and caring community members who made the 2021 Annual Campaign a success, surpassing its goal of $4 million for the third consecutive year!
In 2021, the community raised $4,334,774 for the 2021 Annual Campaign. This represents an increase of approximately $180,000 over last year’s Annual Campaign, and it is the highest achievement on record in more than a decade. These much-needed funds support the community at a time when it is especially needed, as families and organizations continue to navigate the pandemic and resulting challenges.
In addition to the $4.335 million raised for the Annual Campaign, special campaigns for the Safe Indy Security Initiative, an Emergency Assistance Fund at Jewish Family Services, and Youth Philanthropy raised an additional $472,641.04 in gifts and pledges, to augment the support received for these important programs from the Annual Campaign. Combined, these campaigns raised more then $4.8 million to support critical programs and services provided by the Jewish Federation and its partner agencies.
As a result of donors’ generosity, the community can address the continued increase in needs that resulted over the past two years of the pandemic, which will continue for the foreseeable future.
Thank you to everyone who made the success of the 2021 Annual Campaign possible—and especially to 2021 co-chairs Jennifer Schwartz and Larry Turow for their tireless efforts.
The vital funds the community raised support the many programs and services provided by the Federation and partner agencies in Greater Indianapolis, Israel, and around the world…making a difference each day in the lives of so many.
