Homemaker Services

Assistance with light housekeeping and laundry.

JFS is proud to partner with local providers to offer homemaking help for older adults and adults with disabilities in their homes. Subsidies available based on a sliding fee scale.

Free Legal Aid Clinic

Wills and Advance Planning

JFS is proud to partner with a local law firm to offer an annual free legal clinic. Lawyers may be able to help with:

  • Creating a will, which allows you to plan for your family’s future
  • Appointing a financial and/or healthcare power of attorney
  • Creating a living will and other advance directives

This event is for adults age 55 and older or individuals with disabilities and will only assist with advance care planning.

Personal Emergency Response Button (PERS)

Personal Emergency Response Systems (PERS), also known as Medical Emergency Response Systems, let you call for help in an emergency by simply pushing a button.

At JFS, we have secured a reduced, negotiated rate with a local provider.

Medical Equipment Lending Library

If you’re temporarily in need of medical equipment, we may be able to lend it to you for free. Call us for more information.
