This summer, the Jewish Federation of Greater Indianapolis will lose a valued team member in Inna Kolesnikova Shmukler, our Young Leadership Director and PJ Library Facilitator. We are lucky to be gaining a wonderful summer intern in Rachel Kesner, who will be taking over that role for a few months.

A message from Inna:​
It’s been a pleasure being your YLD Director these past six years. From Jegas (Jewish Las Vegas), to Jews in Canoes, Adopt-a-Family, Shabbat dinners, Passover Food Drives, wine tastings and many more amazing programs, I have loved every minute of it and will miss all of you! There are many more great things ahead for YLD—stay tuned! 

Meet Rachel! 

Rachel moved to Indianapolis from Chicago in August 2015 and has been getting involved in several Jewish organizations and programs throughout the city, including BBYO, Jewish Family Services. and teaching Hebrew at the Bureau of Jewish Education. Rachel worked closely with YLD back in Chicago during her role at Shorashim, where she was responsible for hiring and training Birthright-Israel trip staff. She is looking forward to bringing her passion for Jewish community building and informal education to our community and getting to know all of you during her position this summer with YLD.
