How long have you lived in Indianapolis? Since 1996! Though out of state/country for college and grad school.

Describe yourself in 100 words or less: Per LinkedIn: Thoughtful, detail-oriented, community-driven wordsmith. Per Instagram: Reader; sports-watching Jewish feminist nerd I'm a homebody from everywhere - originally from Toronto, I have a B.A. in English Literature from McGill University (Montreal) and an M.A. in Publishing from Rosemont College (outside Philadelphia) with a concentration in children's and young adult literature (I'm also a proud graduate of the Hasten Hebrew Academy and Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory School). I came back to Indy after a summer in New York made me realize I didn't want to live there with five roommates for the rest of my life; the rest is history.

How do you give back? I give back by working within our Jewish community every day! I love sharing all the great programs and services our various departments offer as well as making one-on-one inroads with people when featuring them in the JCC eZine/blog and reminding them what it is they love about our community.

Celebrity Doppleganger: Elizabeth Olsen

Who is a Jew who inspires you? Ruth Bader Ginsburg (z"l)

How do you envision the Indianapolis Jewish community in the next 10 years? I envision a vibrant, connected community that shares triumphs and tackles challenges together.

What is your proudest accomplishment in the past 10 years? In 2021 I was honored with the JCC's Marks Levy Award for outstanding service by a staff member, which like this honor truly made me feel valued and shooed away most lingering imposter syndrome!
