How long have you lived in Indianapolis? Basically my entire life.

Describe yourself in 100 words or less: First and foremost, anyone who knows me knows family is my top priority. I've been blessed with parents who’ve always had my back and supported me through thick and thin. I see myself as a gritty entrepreneur who isn't afraid of hard work. I'm a competitor, always ready to take on a new challenge. I have flaws just like everyone else, but I work to get better every day. I appreciate the process of personal growth and evolution.

How do you give back? Over the past 4 years, I’ve been actively involved with the Starfish Initiative, a nonprofit organization dedicated to mentoring and empowering high school students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. My role has included mentoring, organizing fundraising events, and collaborating with local businesses to provide resources and opportunities for Starfish scholars. I also participated in the Frank Larner Leadership Academy at the JCC, where I focused on enhancing the JCC's business operations and community engagement efforts.

Celebrity Doppleganger: Jared Goff

Who is a Jew who inspires you? My grandfather, Marty Kroot, inspires me every day.

How do you envision the Indianapolis Jewish community in the next 10 years? Youth engagement is essential to growing the Jewish community. It’s a difficult time to be a Jew right now. If we can educate and engage young people properly, I believe we will be in a much better place in the future.

What is your proudest accomplishment in the past 10 years? With a background in commercial real estate, in 2022 I created a brokerage/development firm, BrightPoint Real Estate, with my childhood friend and fellow Jew, Cooper Laikin. Together we’ve built the business from the ground up, focusing on providing creative and innovative solutions to the industry. Not only has this venture been a professional accomplishment, but it’s also presented opportunities to strengthen my commitment to community growth and development.

Any advice for younger professionals? Be Adaptable. The professional landscape is always changing. Try to embrace change and other people’s point of view. Adaptability and resiliency are key to navigating these changes successfully.

Anything else we should know about you? If I’m not working, you can most likely find me on the pickleball court or walking my pup, Bronny.
