Age: 34

Primary Gig: Attorney

On the Side: Mom (but is it really on the side?)

How long have you lived in Indianapolis? 4 years

Describe yourself in 100 words or less: I am a mother of two young kids, a big, dopey rescue dog, a one-eyed rescue cat, and several fish. My toddler is petitioning for a turtle next. I am the daughter of immigrants, who instilled in me the importance of working hard, celebrating my Jewish heritage, giving back to my community, and enjoying good food. I am the wife of a proud Hoosier. In my (limited) free time, I enjoy baking, reading, playing pickleball, and being on the water.

How do you give back? Volunteering has always been an important aspect of my life. Before moving to Indiana, I served on the board of my law school. I am now becoming more involved in the local Indiana community and am particularly drawn to animal rescues, children's charities, and Jewish causes.

Who is a Jew who inspires you? My family; they embody the American dream. Outside of my family, I am inspired by Rachel Goldberg and her plight to bring her son home.

What is your proudest accomplishment in the past 10 years? Becoming a mother. I look forward to bringing my kids to Israel.

Any advice for younger professionals? Don't shy away from hard work and challenging opportunities. Embrace the unknown, grow from your mistakes, and get to know your coworkers.
