How long have you lived in Indianapolis? 35 years

Describe yourself in 100 words or less: I am a young professional focused on information security and passionate about strengthening our local Jewish community.

How do you give back? I enjoy being active in the community and supporting Jewish organizations. I am a member at Beth-El Zedeck and am on their executive board. I also serve on JFGI's finance committee and am a general board member of the JCRC.

Who is a Jew who inspires you? My father has set a great example for me to follow on how to be proud of your Judaism and serve your local community.

How do you envision the Indianapolis Jewish community in the next 10 years? Continuing to grow as more young families become active in our thriving community.

What is one thing you look forward to as we come out of this Pandemic? The opportunity to gather and connect in-person, but also find ways to leverage our new remote technology tools to cater to all types of audiences and events.

What is your proudest accomplishment in the past 10 years? I am incredibly proud of the family that my wife, Andrea, and I have built together. Our son Jonathan (6 yrs old) and daughter Sarah (3 yrs old) have been our greatest achievements, and it has been a pleasure to watch them grow. I am also proud of my career and work in the information security field. It has been a very fulfilling role to know that I am helping organizations protect their critical assets and defend against external threats.

Any advice for younger professionals? Always make time for family, friends, and other activities outside of work. Your career, while important, should never come before all the other intangibles in your life.
