How long have you lived in Indianapolis? 25 years

Describe yourself in 100 words or less: I am a proud husband and father. I was born and raised in Indianapolis and I am excited to see my son attend the Hasten Hebrew Academy like I did. Professionally, I work in the cybersecurity industry as an ethical hacker and website security consultant.

How do you give back? I talk about security and staying safe online at schools and local events. In addition, I am the local tech-guy for friends and community members who need help, even if it is just troubleshooting a printer. I have also mentored local high school students through the Starfish Initiative.

What is one thing you look forward to as we come out of this Pandemic? I look forward to more in-person events and programs. While I work on the Internet all day, online communication still doesn't compare to meeting and talking to people face to face.

What is your proudest accomplishment in the past 10 years? Becoming a father.

Any advice for younger professionals? I still consider myself a pretty young professional, but to those just starting out, the key is to know what you want out of your career, whether that is a high salary, flexible hours, being your own boss, or whatever it might be, and then creating the step-by-step guide for yourself to get there. That guide will be your strength against doubters or down times when it feels too hard - because you only need to focus on the next small step and then, before you know it, you make it.
