The Guild Chanukah Luncheon on December 17, 2014 was a very special and meaningful day for the Hooverwood family. Hosted by Hooverwood, this luncheon represented a year long “thank you” to the Guild volunteers for their endless support, dedication, and commitment to our residents. 

The main dining room was beautifully decorated with a Chanukah theme, and guests enjoyed a delicious pasta buffet lunch catered by the Hooverwood Food Services Department. Following lunch and the installation of officers, the Hooverwood Resident Choir provided spectacular entertainment. After months of rehearsals, the choir performed a variety of Chanukah songs along with favorites from Fiddler on the Roof.  Everyone in the dining room sang and clapped along.  The final soloist performance of “Sabbath Prayer” did not leave a dry eye.
Hooverwood thanks the Hooverwood Guild for its “Heart for Hooverwood,” and looks forward to its continued dedication and support.
