­­Rabbi Dennis Sasso hosts a conversation regarding reproductive freedom as a Jewish value after the Supreme Court’s overturning of Roe vs. Wade and Indiana’s near-total abortion ban with the passing of Senate Bill 1. BEZ member and Indy Star Health Writer Shari Rudavsky will moderate a conversation with special guest panelists. Our panelists: Rabbi Sandy Sasso will share the Jewish perspective; ACLU Legal Director Kenneth Falk will speak from a legal perspective; and BEZ member Dr. Leigh Meltzer of IU Health Physicians OB/GYN and Dr. Katie McHugh OB/GYN, Pelvic Pain Specialist, will represent the medical perspectives on this complex topic.
