Next Generation of Leadership

NEXTGen is excited to welcome its newest committee members for 2021.
Erica Abrams will be leading this committee as NEXTGen Chair along with JFGI Staff Member Stephanie Dlatt, who was recently appointed head of the NEXTGen department.
“We know we have challenging times ahead and are excited to welcome new members and veterans of the committee to assist us during these unique times,” Abrams said.
Abrams and Dlatt said they plan to build upon Eric Ratner and Reva Weiss’ legacy as 2020 co-chairs, continuing their trajectory to build a stronger community by leading in more thoughtful, creative, and regularly scheduled programming.
Their first initiative while planning for the 2021 year was to create committee member roles and responsibilities to lay the groundwork for what NEXTGen hopes to accomplish going forward. The following are the 2021 NEXTGen committee members with the following duties:

  • Rachel Birenbaum, Social Programming
  • Rachel Waldorf, Social Programming
  • Aaron Welcher, Volunteer/Philanthropy Co-coordinator

Here are the newest members to the committee:

  • Joshua Abrams, General Member
  • Alexis Grant, Young Adult Community Representative
  • Terry Hugo, Communications
  • Ben Mossler, Young Adult Community Representative
  • Max Profeta, Light It Up/Major Annual Event
  • Mina Shirazi, Volunteer/Philanthropy Co-coordinator
