An Update from the Co-Chairs Jennifer Schwartz and Larry Turow

A new year. A new Annual Campaign. A new beginning.
New Year’s is a good time to reflect on the year we leave behind and to look ahead to the year ahead.
2021 brought the community together to help and support one another—a silver lining to another year of an ongoing pandemic that has left so many of us so weary.
But with fatigue and weariness also comes resilience and strength. While the needs remain great—and will for some time—so does the resolve of our community and the generosity of our donors.
When we began 2021, we adopted the theme “Moving Forward”. While the COVID-19 pandemic did not leave us, our community did move forward and came together.
We are thrilled to report that our 2021 Annual Campaign surpassed $4 million for the third consecutive year.  This is significant because our partner agencies and our community depend on those funds to support critical programs and services.
Looking ahead to 2022, while we will continue moving forward, we are excited to embrace a new theme for a new year—“Imagine Tomorrow!” We have learned much over the past two years and it is with great optimism that we can look to the future and thoughtfully determine what we need, what we want, and how we can thrive as a Jewish community.
We know that 2022 will continue to keep us on our toes, but we look forward to gathering together in person using safety protocols and continuing to maximize virtual space as needed. No matter what the year holds, we know we will continue to thrive and strengthen one another in community.
As we rally around our community’s 2022 Annual Campaign, we invite you to join us as we continue to address the growing needs of the past two years.
As we have said many times before, we cannot do the important work that needs to be done—or raise the funds that are needed for our community—without your help. We look forward to your continued generosity to ensure our community remains vibrant and serves  to support those in need. We “Imagine Tomorrow,” as a community filled with support and caring, unified by our common values and desire to help.
Thank you so much for all that YOU do for our community!  We look forward to working TOGETHER with you for a successful 2022 Annual Campaign.
