Describe yourself in 100 words or less: I’m a husband and father of two who, after 15 years around the world, returned to Indy to help build the Jewish community here. My wife and I endeavor to bring genuine Yiddishkeit to the younger demographics of our people, while remaining approachable, interesting and with good humor.

How do you give back? Professionally: I have devoted our entire professional life to the Jewish community. Personally: I endeavor to be completely present to my family and friends. Financially: We gift 10% of our income, Maaser, to worthy nonprofits or needy individuals.

Celebrity Doppleganger: Brad Pitt

Who is a Jew who inspires you? Rabbi Menachem M. Schneerson

How do you envision the Indianapolis Jewish community in the next 10 years? The community will continue its re-embrace of its original culture and primary traditions, along with the rest of America’s growing unabashedness and pride in unique identities.

What is one thing you look forward to as we come out of this Pandemic? The complete removal of social uneasiness in meeting new people.

What is your proudest accomplishment in the past 10 years? Getting married and starting a family.

Any advice for younger professionals? Stop seeing your life as transient. Even if you are unmarried, unsatisfied with work or planning on moving away from Indy in a few years, that’s no excuse not to invest in spiritual wellness and communal life.
